Muscat Dog Adoption
What is it?
Muscat dog adoption is a group of people who help dogs that are either injured, abandoned, or in danger. The dogs' home is in a kennel-like place, where they have an indoor playing area, with two dogs in each area. At the moment, it is very hard for this place to have any more dogs, because the group is not an official charity yet, and it is unsure if they can keep the place.
Treatment of dogs
All dogs kept there are treated and neutralized properly. Also, no dogs are put up for adoption without being completely healthy. For example, there was a new dog wandering around, completely lost, who was very skinny. They treated her for ticks, and gave her healthy food, and although she's wary now, she's much healthier. Most of the medicines that are used come from the Al Qurum Veterinary clinic.
How you can help
Adopt: If you are willing to add a dog to your family, then don't hesitate and take one of these lovely dogs home. These dogs are really friendly and playful, and are all looking for a loving home.
Help out: Early in the morning or in the afternoon from around 3-5 pm, volunteers are welcome to socialize with the dogs to keep them happy and used to humans. Just let the people there know when you're coming!
